Default Microsoft plans to boost games graphics with AI

Vole coming up with DLSS-like AI upscaling feature

Microsoft, the software king of the world, is gearing up to launch its DLSS-like AI upscaling feature for PC games.

X user PhantomOcean3 spotted the feature inside the latest test versions of Windows 11 over the weekend. Microsoft says its automatic super-resolution is a way to use AI to make supported games play more smoothly with enhanced details.

It sounds like Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology uses AI to upscale games and boost frame rates and image quality. AMD and Intel also have their versions, with FSR and XeSS gaining popularity in recent PC game releases.
