| Intel's Convertible Classmate PC It's hard to look at the Convertible Classmate PC and not think "netbook for kids," but it's really much more than that. Intel has obviously put a lot of engineering time into every aspect of the new Classmate PC, with the touch screen being the most obvious example. Rather than simply slapping a touch interface on a standard netbook, Intel looked for ways to improve upon touch-screen use in Windows, with a strong focus on educational tools. http://techreport.com/articles.x/16496 Last edited by geoffrey : 4th March 2009 at 16:46. |
