The new platform is intended for low end desktop PCs aimed at emerging markets, but apart from desktops, Intel plans to use it in sub $300 notebooks in late 2008. The platform consists of a 45nm Diamondville CPU and with Intel's 945GC or SiS 671 chipsets, and it supports Microsoft Vista Basic. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?op...75&Ite mid=35
