| Intel to phase out Core 2 Extreme QX9775, Pentium E2220 It's the end of the line for two more Intel processors and we feel fine. 'Blaiming' the move on the presence of newer, nicer models, Intel has announced that its Skulltrail-prone 45nm Core 2 Extreme QX9775 (3.2GHz/12MB L2 cache/1600MHz FSB ) and 65nm Pentium E2220 (2.4GHz/1MB L2 cache/800MHz FSB ) processors are to be phased out, with the last order date for the duo being October 9 (2009). http://www.tcmagazine.com/comments.php?id=27013&catid=2
