 |  IBM boss wants skills not just degrees College less important The tech industry is going to be less interested in college degrees and more focused on hiring people with actual skills according to IBM CEO Ginni Rometty. Rometty told the assembled throngs at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland that it was important that tech companies focus on hiring people with valuable skills, not just people with college degrees.
