The world is still being hostage of the Covid 19, now Omicron edition, but tradeshow runners refuse to remain closed and virtual only.

Mobile World Congress 2022 is happening as a digital and in-person event, just like the CES 2022. The event management companies decided to give it a go. Some exhibitors might skip the show, but many will show up. Honor plans a big press conference at the show. The latest info indicates that the next generation phone that they plan to launch will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The Power of Magic event is scheduled for 1 PM on February 28, and it is announced as an Honor Global Launch Event. They certainly like to use capital letters. Some suggest that there might be a place to launch a foldable Honor Magic V, a phone with a saucy price of over $2399 in China.

Unlike its previous mothership company Huawei, Honor can use Google services, Android 12 with Magic UI 6 user interface, and 5G enabled. Honor has a fighting chance to sell some phones in Europe as Europeans believe that having google services and play store is quite an essential thing for most.
