Stefan Mileschin [M] Reviewer Join Date: May 2010 Location: Romania Posts: 148,802	Gmail’s Basic View Is Going Away According to a support document, Google will discontinue Gmail's Basic HTML view in January 2024. Everyone who currently uses the Basic HTML mode will be forced to adopt the Standard view. This is a disappointing change of pace, as Basic HTML mode provided a lightweight and old-school design that some users preferred. And, unlike the standard Gmail interface, Basic HTML mode always played nice with screen readers and other accessibility tools. https://www.howtogeek.com/gmail-basi...-discontinued/
