current X850XT PE in Crossfire = 6800U in SLI

so... ATI is basically the AMD of GPU's; they have better products, but are too late to mass produce them and push them to large resellers.

they got XBOX and that's a win for sure, but there are about 10x as many Dell system's being sold with nVidia chips. And nVidia going hand in hand with Intel (nForce4 SLI for Intel) will make it even harder to penetrate the market that would make a difference.

nothing like a good underdog, to stick it's head up once in a while (R9700Pro) and shock the world

ATI is trading at 62% of 52-week high - $12.8
Nvda is trading at 92% of 52-week high = $27.40

Hence, PANIKING for ATI.

Bottom line - the business team in ATI fails in getting the products out on time and Nvda has been capitalizing on ATI weakness.

I believe it is the production yield factor.

But the real kick is the fact that the new product performs much better than the previous.
