 |  Crooks use AI on Zoom to fleece company Used AI to pose as their boss on Zoom A Hong Kong firm has been conned out of £18 million by crooks who used fake video calls to pose as their boss. The scammers used deepfake technology to make it look like the company's UK-based chief financial officer was ordering a secret money transfer, according to the police. The poor worker who fell for the trick was the only real person on the video conference, where everyone else was a computer-generated impostor.
