 |  AMD wants Radeon RX 7900 XTX users to call IT crowd Things are getting a little hot AMD has asked Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards who are feeling the heat to contact its customer support. AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX seems to exhibit hotspots peaking up to 110 degrees Celsius, which we vaguely remember is the melting temperature for soldering. Apparently, this happens when the cooling fans are at full throttle. The outfit told Tom’s Hardware  “We are aware that a limited number of users are experiencing unexpected thermal throttling on AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards (reference models made by AMD). Users experiencing unexpected thermal throttling of an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX should contact AMD Support.”According to AMD, 110 degrees Celsius is the average junction temperature for the Radeon RX 7900 XTX. https://fudzilla.com/news/56069-amd-...-call-it-crowd |
