 |  AMD might scrap entire gaming ranges In favour of AI The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell-on-earth yarn claiming that AMD is considering scrapping entire ranges of gaming chips to churn out AI gear. Instead, it'll lead to entire GPU families being scrapped to make way for AI chips. Extreme Tech found three sources for the rumours, all of whom have said AMD's next generation of GPUs will consist of midrange GPUs.
