Default AMD liquid-cooled RX 6900 XT LC is limited to system integrators

Not coming to retail/e-tail

The recently spotted reference Radeon RX 6900 XT LC (Liquid Cooled) graphics card is apparently exclusive to System Integrators (SIs), according to AMD.

Spotted earlier, the Radeon RX 6900 XT LC is meant to be AMD's most powerful Radeon RX 6900 XT, most likely based on binned chips and featuring a higher power limit, faster GDDR6 VRAM, giving it an edge over standard Radeon RX 6900 XT cards.

The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT comes with a game clock of 2250MHz, boosting up to 2435MHz, and features 16GB of 18Gbps GDDR6 memory. It still needs two 8-pin PCIe power connectors but the TDP rating has been raised to 330W.

So far, the RX 6900 XT has been spotted with system integrators like Maingear, NZXT, PC Specialist, and others, and now AMD has confirmed that such cards won't be reaching retail/e-tail. It will probably be available in limited volume and most likely even be exclusive to select system integrators.

Andreas Schilling, a fellow hack from Hardwareluxx.de, has managed to confirm this with AMD and has published AMD's official comment over at his Twitter account.
