1.3-litre PC for 8th-gen Intel Core processors

Elmshorn, Germany, 2018-08-02 – Following the launch of the first XPC cube for Intel's latest processor generation, now the product family of XPC slim Mini-PCs in a 1.3-litre format welcomes a new member.

- For socket LGA1151v2 Intel Coffee Lake processors with up to 65 Watt TDP
- Two 4K-compatible monitor ports
- Space-saving steel chassis

Based on the Intel H310 chipset from which it also derives its name, the XPC Barebone DH310 supports Intel Core processors of the "Coffee Lake" generation with a TDP of up to 65 Watt. This even includes the versions with 6 cores and 12 threads. Reflecting this, two SO-DIMM slots permit the installation of 32 GB of DDR4 memory modules.

For the first time in this range, it is possible to support two monitors in 4K resolution with 60 Hz. For this purpose, an HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort 1.2 connector are available in each case. If required, despite the highly modern features, an analogue VGA connector can also be routed from the mainboard to the back of the device. Two of the three connectors can be used at the same time.

"A versatile Mini-PC which is at home in almost any environment – this is probably a good way to describe the DH310," says Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "Its rugged steel chassis exudes robustness and yet still makes a good impression on any desk. The spec sheet looks impressive and hardly leaves something to ask for."

The DH310, which measures just 19 x 16.5 x 4.3 cm (DWH), features space for a 2.5-inch drive (HDD/SSD) and an NVMe SSD with M.2 interface. An SD card reader sits on the front. Just like its predecessors, the Mini-PC can also be equipped with WLAN via an M.2-2230 module. Openings for external antennas are provided on the back for optimum transmission and reception.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, 8x USB and 2x RS-232 are provided for wired data transmission. A remote power-on connection allows the device to be started remotely, for example if a fixed installation is difficult to access.

Optionally available accessories comprise a stand for vertical operation (PS02), a connecting cable for the remote power-on connection (CXP01), a WLAN/Bluetooth module incl. antennas (WLN-M), a VGA port (PVG01) and a 19" 2-unit rack mount front plate (PRM01).

The recommended retail price from Shuttle for the DH310 is EUR 214.00 (ex VAT). This model is available from specialist retailers Europe-wide upon publication of this press release.
