I opened up the pelt. some pins on the pics are broken due to the opening of the pelt (w/ screwdriver) and the wire I stuck into the pelt

What about connecting a "rietje" to a h²o block ... and the orther end in tha bottle... u only need something to control the temp.. otherwise ur booze will freeze...:^D
