planning = done
now I need the $$$ to buy a TEC, el cheapo vase & laptop transformer to realise it

brainstorming has finished, almost all problems solved: fanadapter with holes in it for airflow+sturdy base, laptop adapter for powering etcetera ;)

I want something fancier :grr:

besides, DIY will be less expensive, much smaller and more fun. it's just the same thing like premodded cases

I know, just teasing...

goddamnit

I've bought a 15W pelt from koensa to try it out. I've spent 3hours today on it, but the pelt is dead now: the wires didn't make good contact inside the pelt itself. due to koensa's messing with it, the wires were connected minimally to the pelt, I could pull the wires really easy out of the pelt :grum:

anybody here knows how to reconnect the wires to the pelt? I connected a strong, thick copper wire (with hard core) to the wires and stuck that into the pelt but it didn't help

When fitting the 172Watt TEC there was a small accident, one of the wires broke off, leaving us with a broken cpu TEC. Without it the results are going to depend on how high we can get the videocard. Unfortunately even with the 80Watt TEC and watercooling the Core of the vidcard refused to go any higher :(

in my humble opinion you are correct Koensa :)
he said it worked but then he broke it himself :p

okay, I killed it... but it was already severe damaged when you sold it

I'll ask anthroplast how he fixed that as soon as he comes online (or I'll mail him, it's only dial-up at his father's place)
