The topic was A64 or A64 X2 ..... like any project which always comes down to three elements; money, time and scope. Without mentioning money and time, it is pointless. Do want make you happy.

Time = now
Money = least amount (you can't beat X2 at 40% off from last week) + (inexpensive Mobo) + (inexpensive DDR)
Scope = decent gaming machine

Unless you are going for >21" LCD, it is pointless to go SLI, plus power supplies that go for >$150.

If you worry about electric bill, it is pointless to play PC games; in fact, PC game play costs hell a lot more money than console.

i dont care how much money i use to buy a gaming PC but i live with my parents they handle the electric bills.

then you give them $$ for power:)
