Default cpu problem

I yesterday installed a new AMD athlon 2400+, but when i start my computer, the bios always shows only 1000 Mhz. Can i change something in my bios to change this?

what motherbord is it?
-update your bios

put FSB @ 133 (133*15= 2000 mhz where as 66*15= 1000 mhz)
