EPOX 9NPA+(nForce 4 Ultra) Testing Report

The package is very nice.

Show the picture of EPOX 9NPA+.

In the right side,It has the port-80 and Pown-on key and reset key

In the left side,

Input/Ouput

Near by CPU picture

This is BIOS optiion
CPU can reach 400MHZ

PCI-E Option

RAM option

CPU Ratio option

CPU Voltage. It is very great. And Its highest voltage is 0.35V.

RAM Voltage. It can reach 3.1V.

RAM: Dram-timing Option

BIOS Voltage and Temp

Very good Booting LOGO

Testing Environment
K8 939 3000+ (0.09) 0048SPAW
G-Skill TCCD LA 256MBX2
EPOX 9NPA+
Leadtek GeForce 6200
TEAC 512EB
Seasonic 430W

Show the picture.
It has three blue light. It can show the situation of CPU,CHIP,DIMM.
We can check that POWER-ON or POWER-OFF.

It is original FAN environment. It can 2.7G without additional Voltage.

DDR700 Ducal Channel Mode 1T pass

Benefit
1. CPU and RAM has more additional voltage.
2. It is more helpful to the overclocker-user.
3. It is very nice package in the market and beautiful Booting LOGO.
4. Good overclock ability in this Motherboard.

This may make progress in this situation. :
1.BIOS may support more CPU-RATIO option .in the down option.
2.The dram-parameter should powerful.
Ex:MSI_NF4 can boot in the ¡V3-3-x option above 300MHZ (1T) environment.

This is the MSI_NF4 feature in my hand.
1.The voltage option is more powerful than EPOX.
2.I am collecting the 5 BRAND-MF4 Motherboard.(EPOX ,MSI,DF-.GAGABYTE,ASUS)
3.Only DFI motherboard is more difficult.

About the ASUS?
I have do it.
But it can not 300MHZ ¡¥1T¡¨.I still wait the newest edition BIOS.
NEO4 and 9NPA+ can reach 350MHZ or above....easily
But asus still be unstable or it can not boot into LOGO in the 300MHZ environment.

May be you should consider writing reviews for [M].;)

Did you have problems running 1T in bank 1&2?

Did you have any problems at all?

I cannot set my cas at 2 at these high memspeeds with 2*512 on this neo2 :(
but that doesn't make much difference, does it?
I cool the winchester 3000+ with an xp90 with lowrpm 92mmfan (very silent is the main point for this setup), and I can easily do 9*300 1:1 but the memory isn't completely stable.
Now at 9*292 it is completely stable with 2*512 mb adata ddr600
timings cas 3 3-3-10 (I always use 10), but sadly 2t command, 1t command reboots at this speed :(
how much is the 1t command different in speed?
if I could 5:4 the memory (+-250 memoryspeed) and go at cas 2.5 3-3-10 and 1t, would that be better?

jmke 7th January 2005 11:36

1T is a lot of difference; 270 1T > 292 2T

The Senile Doctor 7th January 2005 11:42

in total system speed?
even when you gain 300 mhz?
then it would mean that it's more interesting to go for 5:4 and highest possible htt for your cpu?
