Hallo :)

Wel men exaams gedaan en ik gaan wat aan men pc werken voor een beke over te clocken.

specs :

Epox 8RDA+ rev 1.1
2*256 DDRAM corsair PC3200 XMS (cas 2.5 d8 ik)
80GB WD @8mb
160GB MAxtor @8mb
GF4Ti4200 128mb
Voeding 350W (zat bij aopen H600B)


Nu ik gaan beginne met men northbridge te koelen sinds die pretty hot wordt , kheb hier nog nen fan(12V 1.6W) liggen maar ik zou inet weten hoe ik die aan men voeding moet sluiten.
Ik d8 in parallel met men andere casecooler (heb er 4).
Ook heb ik hier nog een koelvin liggen van 5*5cm maar kzou niet weten waar ik die nog zou moeten opzetten.



Ik zou graag men 4 casefans kunne afschakelen of regelen , iemand die een goede rheobus kent of hoe noemt da :).
Ik had gehoord dat je dat zelf kon maken , ik kan solderen schema lezen en aan de componenten is geraken is geen probleem , maar is het de moeite wel ?


Dan over men WC , nog nooit een wc aangesloten maar dat zal wel geen probleem zijn.
Maar ik wel er zelf 1 maken met een cnc machine , als er iemand me kan helpen voor drawing of een plan voor zowel amd en intel sockets dan kan ik er misschien meerdere maken voor een prijsje ;).
Enneuh wat voor pomp moet dat zijn want ik denk dat ik er nog stuk 2 heb liggen thuis maar das wel voor onze gazon te sproeien :p.

Radiator zal ook geen probleem zijn , de materialen moeten die ofwel van koper zijn ofwel van aluminium of mag dat beide vermits je waterwetter in je systeem kapt.

laatste vraagje , kan men 350W voeding dit trekken of moet ik een voeding bijkopen?


ik weet het , tzijn veel vragen maar ik ben maar een beginner met wc's en electronica :p

is het een no name voeding?
want indien ja zal uw voeding te licht zijn vermits ge nog gaat overklokken en je dan onstabiliteit wilt vermijden door je vcore te verhogen( slechte zinsconstructie kweet het)

rheobus kunt ge idd zelf maken, maar mijn advies is koop er 1

pompen : eheim (google maar es)

koelvin kunt ge op soutbridge kwijt

door de waterwetter kunt ge allebij de materialen gebruiken (denk ik)
maar ik dacht toch dat koper meer warmte wegvoert? (verbeter mij als ik verkeerd ben)

geel of rood is 12v en zwart is ground
aan de voeding is geel=12v , rood=5v en zwart = ground
mosfets en southbridge zijn bv plaatsen voor een heatsinkje op te zetten.

(btw mss northbridge wc blok maken?)

je voeding heeft er niks mee te maken met je wc want al de goede pompen zijn op 220V (allez bij ons toch)
radiator moet in het koper zijn (= beter en men moet in my humble opinion geen problemen zoeken die kunnen vermeden worden)

I don't know its worth making one of my own since I saw this one "Cooler WaKü Zub CPU Cuplex AMD" for 38€.

I was wondering should i make somewhat the same like on madshrimps or should i buy a complete watercooling set ?

als je een beetje wilt oc'en zou ik de moeite niet doen om een waterblock te maken.

maar als je ervaring wilt opdoen en een zeer goed blok wilt zou ik het zelf maken als je de tijd, materiaal en kennis hebt....

Ik kan frezen , draaien , boren , tappen en cnc machine besturen. :p

Maar met water in combinatie met pc ben ik extra voorzichtig en stel ik liever een paar vragen :).

Tis voornamelijk om men pc wat stiller te maken.

Nog een vraagje in verband met men casefans , ze werken op 12V en 0.17A , ik zou hier een regelbare weerstand willen tussenplaatsen (4 coolers voor elk 1).

0 - 72 0hm , zou dat volstaan ?.

I gonna start making a cpu blok for my watercooling.
What do you think of a similar copy of the danger den II ??
Or should i make something with another better design because i gonna make it with a cnc machine so i don't need no handskills :p

I placed my homemad baybus in mu friends pc because i get a zalman baybus for free :D

Today I put a fan on my NB , ordered a pump and some copper for my own made WB.

Gonna try to put my fsb beyond 200mhz :) with my air cooling .

Euhm after the holday with begins next week i gonna make myself a CPU waterblok on cnc machine.

If someone needs one reply here because the only thing i have to do is put the cordinates in the cnc machine and doesn't care i make 1 or 5 blocks.

I don't know what sort of layout (the middle of the cpu block where the water is) i wanna make and whats best.

Euhm those screws with springs for holding your wc blok on your mobo, where can you get them?

Oké , Me and my fathers idea of my watercooling setup goes like this.

A reservoir behind my pc about 10L with 6L of water in it and the reservoir and pc are made on a plate with wheels and a bar so you can travel without lifting your pc :).

A radiator is placed in the top of the reservoir where the water goes in and cools down the water.
A thermometer mounted in the reservoir if the water reach a certain temperature my 2 fans will start cooling down the radiotar.This is maybe an overkill because i got 6 liter of water :).

Don't know if my eheim can work underwater , if it does , i place em in the reservoir.

p.s : someone know the dimensions of the NB from a epox 8rda+? So i can make this block before my reservoir is completed.

Now , Its obvious you wanna have your pump running when you press start up button of your pc.
Now ho do you guys do it ?

I thought 220V pump and a 12V connector to a relais - startbutton to pump.

The only pics i can show you is from my rad and pump , the cpu block isn't finished and didn't take a picture of it yet But I will :)

no fans/airflow on the rad ?

its a big rad and i'll wait with the fans and check temp first without fans.

In the window i can put 3x120mm fans :)

mhh lol , rad + res + water is kinda heavy so if i fill my system my pc falls down :D

nothing to worry because i fixed it and i'll up pics tomorrow wen i got time because i have to oc my amd 2500+ M and put my old system as server.

is there some space between case and rad?

because else you won't have a decent airflow

yes there is about 10mm space between case and rad.

Bought CPU-Blok(frigus engineering) because mine is still in proces :p

mirror finish isn't that what i expected , but we'll see how it performs

Dunno I did find em in my dads workbench :D , but i can ask my dad.


reason I wanted watercooling is silence and performance but i think my supply won't fill in my needs if i wanna oc.


Its the supply in the Aopen H600B case (350W).
I think i use about 330W now with this setup .

(Amd XP 2400+ + Epox 8rda+ + 2*256ddram + 2HD(80+160GB) + floppy + CD-R + CDRW-R + 4casefans , 1CPU cooler , 1x40mm NB cooler )

This setup is going to be replaced by : AMD 2500+ barton Mobile + Abit NF7 (rev 2.0) , 12V relais , 2*120 Fans for rad)

what do you guys think , new supply .... ?

i have same case and psu

and i run a xp1800 @2300 @1.7v
2 optical drives
floppy, hd, nf7-s, 256mb hyperx, 9800np, wifi card
and some fans

it works fine here
