put some H²O on it and the mosfets and the voltage regulators.
While you're at it, better cool the southbridge with it too.

JMke isn't able to watercool right now, he even hasn't got place for that prommie :/

putting some large heatsinks on the chippies / SB is a good idea yeah :)

hmmmmzz

with my prommie and an RDA i also had temps of 0-10°C @ 2V, it's a normal temp @ that V on an RDA

sure, whatever , the extra cost for the H²0 will surely make up for that 10-20mhz extra on the FSB :rolleyes:

unlocking the AXP is what I'm gonna do :p

then why did you get a prommy (even bargain it has to have it's serious price)
I'm running 200FSB without VDD mod just some heatsinks ofmy mosfets.
It does stabilize and increase temps a bit.

Totaly off topic, what's the preferred size for images on the fora?
got some of mine.

jmke 1st June 2003 14:19

800x600 compressed with JPG ~70%

ontopic: unlock multi
set it to 13.5x200

wanna see you do it on aircooling =)
the board needed to replace an older Abit KR7A

around August I either get me a P2.4C with Asus P4P800 or some bargain v2.0 NF7-S :)

note: this system is PURE for amusement, it is not used for anything besides benchmarks. so putting too much money in it will not pay of for me =)

OFF TOPIC:

Rule of thumb = cost of movieticket
movieticket = 5,50 EUR for 90 minutes

Prommy will give you OC-pleasure and installation for the next 2 to 3 years. Let's say you install and play with it for about 4,5 hours every month, for 3 years. Your budget would be 594 EUR.

FreeStyler 1st June 2003 14:57

movieticket ?? ==> divx

owke so prommy aint illegal ...
wasn't that supposed to double the fun of it ...

anyway, if you wanna have fun, have some water.

The lifespan of a prommy is only till the next upgrade with incompatible mouning systems.
There is only one reason to do it. It's ****ing cool. (pun intended)

just a side not, are there prommy's for brain cooling too? My CPU runs fine at 46°C, I don't.

the prom was designed so it would work with any future mounting system, that's why it works with kits. when AMD releases the opteron they'll just bring out an opteron kit ;)
