remove check from the option "Automatically parse URLs: automatically adds [ url ] and [ /url ] around internet addresses"

and put [ url ] before and [ /url ] after each link to the picture, without the spaces of course :)

beerke 13th July 2004 21:01

Did'nt work , the forumscript puts dividers in the link if it's to long (%20% ) , but no worry's , i've put them on an other site .

UBER Tower

This is my almost completed tower.

Some photos showing how it has worked out.
there was enough sunlight coming in to make the case turn red for the camera.

Also the top blowhole window and the rear mesh

If I was doing this over again, I would have not used 4 fans for the radiator.

I really do not like the power supply at all.

I may still change that. I may also swap the radiator around with in inlet/outlets to the rear.

Having the inlets in the front took an extra bay.

Having 4 fans also took too many bays.

nicely done!

moddedcomputer 1st November 2004 18:08

Thank you.

I planned the case with cad (micrografx) and tried to think though every detail. Even then, I ran into things that did not work like I planned. Towards the end, I really got tired of painting. At some point, I'll re-do the entire project.

Should have posted these here. Very nice rigs guys, and I hope you enjoy mine.

jmke 29th November 2004 08:41

JoniNItro you're right, your system deserves a spot in here:)

Dentnvr6 29th November 2004 12:19

most people don't like mine :(
I do have to admit the top comes up way too extreme, looking to change it and have a special thought about the sideplate. Cools great though: 3 rads, 2 pumps,...
anyway; please try and be polite because I had a lot of problems when I posted a picture at "another site".

don't listen to those people, I like the top very much, just the alu thing on the front fan is :wtf: Make it black ;)

Dentnvr6 29th November 2004 13:06

thx for the reply kr15t0f.
The front fan is indeed gotta go. Think I'll place low profile black papst like in the beginning, was much cleaner that way.

JoniNItro 29th November 2004 14:11

Hey Dent:
I think that it looks killer man. Most people that dont mod just dont understand. I was thinking last night it would be cool to have to loops. A CPU one and a Northbridge/GPU. Well, I like you system looks like you spent a lot of time and effort on it.

jort 29th November 2004 16:23

yeah idd looks cool.
the 2 reservoirs in spec.
idd 2 loops will increase the performance.
keep it nice and cool ;)

agent #2 29th November 2004 17:10

Damn I hate my chieftech silver case.

Da_Priest 29th November 2004 18:11

Corrandy, I love the case.
I know a lot of people (@B2OC i guess :)) gave some poor comment on your case, but people who like it are prolly to laizy to post some comment (erm... hih  )
The drawing on the sidepanel is indeed a bit... strange?

The is no pc like a pc with an overkill @ cooling...

Working on my second 3x120mm rad
Had a little to much pressure with a second pump though, but maybe I'll find a solution for that... ( homemade res kinda... exploded :p)
there is some topic over here... somewhere with some pics of my homemade cooling... and I mean HOMEMADE... right jmke?:D

(offtopic: jmke, I took some pics to make some sort of review, but the pictures didn't turn out that good, so still no good pics of cooling project, sry  )

I'll try to lay my hands on a digicam from a friend or something, and then I'll post some pictures of mine too... (and try to make a review :) )
:D

Dentnvr6 29th November 2004 18:38

thanx all!!!!

@Da_Priest; I overlooked your project at [M], but I'm sure I saw it already somewhere before.
I did find it impressive (otherwise I wouldn't have remembered it).
Wasn't it posted at an English shop-forum or Xtreme systems?
and lol what pumps did you use, and did you put them in series or parallel??
@JoniNItro: loved the case! (both topics:o )
@Jort: damn, love the case, that's real modding!

Da_Priest 29th November 2004 20:16

Actually, I would not know :p
Prolly on Born2OC and here @ Da_Priest's HomeMade H²O-Cooling Project

Thank you. Perhaps the others didn't know what you were referring to. Yes, there is diagnostic software installed. The name of the computer is "Functional Design" because it is not just beautiful, but fully functional. It was also featured in the Oct. 2003 issue of CPU Magazine.

Erm... I was using 2 'aquarium'-pumps in series...
they're 1000l/h pumps with a head of 1.4m I think.
Pretty cheap... they're from "ORCA" hahahahaa :super:

The res was made of PolyStyreen and silicone, and it kinda blew a joint
Next time I'll work with some epoxy or "plamuur"

Dentnvr6 6th January 2005 11:23

have you ever tried running it with just one pump? A few weeks ago one of my eheims started leaking and as a temporary solution I just ran it with one pump. I didn't see any gain or decrease in heat!!! And that's with: three waterblocks, three reservoirs and three radiators. This tells me pressure really isn't so important when using "american-style" waterblocks (dangerden, swiftech, cathar,...) it might be more important with german waterblocks, I don't know.

Anyway, try running it with one pump if you ever get the chance, because pumps really do put a fair amount of heat in a loop.
My mcp650 just came in today, gonna spend the weekend drastically changing the watercooling (the whole top comes off). I hope I'll see a loss in temp at the end of the road :D

Da_Priest 6th January 2005 17:08

tbh, I never ran a dual pump setup :p
it was my first try and the res exploded :)

I was just trying to see if they made a difference

Anyways, just got the idea today to use some 'plamuur' on them and mod them to non-submerged pumps. And because of my dual connection setup I'll have to use them both in parallell.
I'll see what the extra flow gives me... My block is based on high flow so...

maybe we should start posting in some other topic, because this one is supposed to be 'casemodding :o '
