Epox 8rda+ NForce2 Overclocking
 

Friday the 13th seems to be my lucky day: 8rda+, XP2400+ & 2 sticks of Corsair XMS 3200 ready to be pushed to the max! :banana:

The silicon tubing is from low-noise.de, don't mind the :gay: color, it turned pink after using red-line watterwetter.

Blah, I've got too many scratches on my WinXP cd to make it work. :/

WinXP installed, also flashed to the unofficial 250FSB bios.

200FSB sync DCDDR seems to be no prob, upping FSB. :)

205 @ aggr timings hosed my winxp install. Damnit. :/

loosen up those timings, there is a lot more juice in there :p

typo, 215 hosed my system.

Just re-installed WinXP. I'm gonna make a ghost before I start overclocking again. :)

First impression: very fast at stock speeds!

Als je nu weer corruption hebt doe je dit:

Oddly, the epox 8rda+ price has risen €20 since i bought it (from 140 to 160 eur)
8rda+: 140 eur
XP2400+: 210 eur
2*256MB Corsair XMS 3200: 272 eur (thank you duron!!)

@calantak: if I were you, i would prolly buy XMS 3500 or Geil 4000, running at 205FSB and memory at 120% (245Mhz) should give a nice boost!

I must admit these XMS PC3200 sticks perform very well, running sync at 205Mhz and aggr timings gives awesome performance!

Some sisoft screenies, all are at 12.5* 202FSB sync, 5-2-2 CL2

A pitty 200fsb isn't stable for 3D mark, all other benchmarks run without problem, but 3D mark doesn't even want to run at 190FSB and AGP set to 50mhz. :/

I left it folding for a night at 2410mhz (192FSB) and 1.8v & fans at 7V. Seems to be stable, finished 7 WU's tonight. :drool:
