I helped with it, cause I don't have the materials for it.

It's a simple 7cm wide tube, 5mm thick, with the 2 ends soldered?(gelast), 2 small 12mm tubes and tada you got it.

It's completely closed, some of you will say, how are you going to get air out, well I will use a second res with the pump inside (poseidon res)

"welded" is the word your loooking for ;)

Great looking res you've got there.

TerAngreal 7th October 2003 16:59

why don't you drill a hole in it and tap it?

you can find a suited cap in every brico / gamma, and by doing so you'd have a f0nky looking res that's fully functional as well!

Da_BoKa 7th October 2003 17:00

and yes it has an better finish than that other res

nice one

greetz

Thx RB for the welded, I knew it was something like that ;)

@TA : Yeah I had that in mind, but if I want to put it on it's side the water would leak. I want it to be very versatile in its functions.
After this case I wan't to be able to use it in another without having to make a new one, not that it wasn't fun :D

@Da_boka : thx, props to the other guy for having done that, it's nice already but the small finishing touch does it ;)

TerAngreal 7th October 2003 18:17

mmm ... funny you should use the word "versatile", cuz it's just the opposite in the end :)

but i see your point, and something custom made with such quality is always a pleasant asset

Evangeliz 7th October 2003 18:23

Yeah, versatile in it's positions I mean ;)
In it's functions it is limited and not versatile.

Good point.

And yes you got the point with not wanting to limit myself with only one choice.

The fact is also I'm working on a new case where this should end in, but not really sure about it tho
