| Arctic Cooling Silentium T3 This case comes with a pretty good PSU, a Seasonic 450 watt max/350 watt continuous. But the DFI board I want needs a 480 watt PSU, is it possible to to swap out the psu on this particular case or am I stuck with it? If i'm stuck with it, would the MSI K8N Neo4 be a good second option? |

| Normally you can swap the psu in every atx case, so i dont see why it wouldn't be possible with this particular case |

| it's an ATX case, just not in the standard ATX layout, if that makes sense. I found out last night that in addition to only having a 350 watt psu which is unreplaceable, it also doesn't have a power lead for PCIe. That pretty much cancels out the possibility of me getting that case And I was gonna get it for $5 brand new due to a typo @comtec |

| you don't need a PCIe power connector; companies supply adapters with their cards 2x12v->1xPCIe

Reason I say that is because I don't recall seeing a power header on it, nor is there a power cable in the box. But seeing as how the DFI board is power hungry, looks like I'll be going w/MSI K8n Neo4 board instead, so the supplied psu should be fine! The only thing is the case limits my upgradability, but considering the price I'm getting it for, it's worth it, it'll give me the chance to buy something else when the time comes, at my leisure and I won't feel like I've paid twice for what I should've paid for once. | |
