jort, what did you set your HT to? I have mine set at 4x ... with my mem clock at 166mhz and timings at 6, 3, 3, 2.5 current fsb is 265x9...anything higher would be unstable here is my system specs: Case: Antec Super Lanboy ATX PSU: Antec TruePower 550w CPU: Athlon 64 3000+ Socket 939 MB: MSI K8N Neo2 Memory: 1GB Kingston ValueRAM PC3200 Video Card: LeadTek Geforce 6800 GT DVD-RW: Plextor PX-708A Speakers: Altec Lansing VS4121 Monitor: SamSung Syncmaster 712N LCD Disks: 60GB & 80GB Maxtors 7200RPM |
my HT is at 3x, |
actually that is the LTD that is set to 3x :) |
changing HT from 3x to 5x has no impact on performance, set it at 3x and try to push the FSB as high as it can go |
Threads like this make me eager to buy a A64 setup :D |
yeah i saw the result of windwithme and i tought:o and i found a job so  sold that slow P4 and bought a even slower a64, but when you oc that slow thing i become one of the fastest there is(aircooled offcourse) |
im not too sure my memory is capable for overclocking because i cant seem to overclock past 264FSB my memory is 1gb of kingston valueram pc3200 |
i can oc that mutch with takems or others cheap mem. if you set a divider every mem can run then. If pc crach=> cpu is too high oc'ed If pc reboot=> mem is not stable ;) |
ive tried almost everything can u tell me how to acheive a compromised cpu o/c? |
update: I think I've finally acheived a stable overclock of 265x9...i just adjusted the memory voltage higher and set the mem mhz to 133 |
