The VESA mounts are a good addition for fitting the miniPC behind the display:
Surprisingly, Shuttle is still including installation disks with the products; the DL30N comes with a DVD which includes the drivers and the manual in electronic format:
The power adapter was manufactured by Asian Power Devices, hence the APD name; on the front we will also get a power status LED:
On the back, we will note the DA-65C19 code name, along with the power rating on the output, which is 19V at 3.42A, for a total of 64.98W:

As the DL20N series before it, the top metallic cover does have a grey separate area as a design element; this element does not extend to the front on the DL30N:
On the frontal I/O, we will note the microphone and headphone jack ports, the Power and HDD LEDs, the On/Off button but also four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports (max 5 Gbps transfer rate):
The sides are perforated, for allowing air to circulate:
In the back, we do have a 4-pin power-on connector, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 (maximum 5 Gbps transfer rate), a HDMI 2.0b, a DisplayPort 1.4a, a D-Sub/VGA, 2x COM (1x RS422/485) but also 2x RJ45 2.5G LAN ports. The DC-IN is available in the lower right corner, and we will also see two cut-outs for the WiFi antennas:
On the bottom area of the unit, we will note a small sticker with the barebone power rating, four circular rubber feet, but also the product serial number:
