these sort of fans have a bad noise/performance ratio when it comes down to CPU cooling, don't know if this also applies for aircooling, if you put this at the side of your case I think you can do away with all the fans in your case,

now only to override the automatic speed regulator so you can set the required rotation speed & minimise noise

mod it and cut everything open at the back of a case so there's a constant airflow

is it noisy ? and can you silent it by lower the voltage or will it malfuntionate then ?

maybe but at low speed you almost can ignore the sound. i dont think i am going to use it in my pc. maybe in my project phase-change under my pc to cool my rad
performance:it hase a very good warp of air ,thats my opinion
its just a MAD vent

oh yes, no doubt, but put a like-wise sized radial fan next to it, and at the same CFM output it will be quieter, and at its maximum speed it will still be more silent and produce more CFM

don't take my world for it, just make your ears work: http://www.madshrimps.be/files/article-jmke-68.wmv

same way a 200mm radial fan won't be as noisy as the 80mm version
