But are the L1 bridges of the 2400+ all factory-wise connected (or "not cut") before they leave the labs ? (because if so, I could up the mp a bit, from 15 to 16, and the fsb a slight bit, pushing the limits of my kt133a with an athlonXP @2.2GHz =))

but they don't control the MP over 13x.. I think.

Could be darn true, my bios only allows me to select a mp varying from 5.5 to 12.5 with my duron inserted.

/mod: I remember something about the the last L3 bridge, more specific: if it was connected, you could select an mp-range of 5.5 to 12.5, and if not it was 13 to 20 I think. Most likely (mp is 15) the L3 bridge will be cut, giving the bios the signal to use the alternative mp-table, enabling the mp's ranging from 13 to 20.

Do I have misunderstood something, or is there still hope ? :D
