damn killed the P4C800-E yesterday... would it be worth to send it out for repairs ? Board doesn't want to post as long as I have the little 4 pin connector plugged in... seems to shortcircuit without the 4 pin everything get's current and spins up...

I'm not really sure the 4 pin conn is the issue, try measuring voltage across its pins when not plugged in.

I'll give you the board, I don't know jack sh*t about all this... It was weird as it wasn't even 1.85Vcore set in bios. Completed wprime, BSOD afterwards... then had coldboot issues at -120, had to wait till <-110 to repost. Tried to repost, no go... popped battery till this morning to let everything dry up. tried other PSU, CPU, RAM no go...

Just stopped benching the Sempron 140, first time on the UD3P and board was nice up to 408-410HT clock compared to 368 on the DDR3 version). Need to look for better efficiency in the near future...

But pure fun for a 35 euro CPU... wished all hardware was this cheap

Gonna finish the Semprom article tonite after I have setup the Asrock X58...

Good weekend

If all hardware was equally cheap then why bother the sempron 140?
