Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6GB of RAM

Xiaomi Mi 5 is by all standards are rather affordable flagship Android smartphone with one of the best specs for the cash, and the world on the street is that the outfit is working on an “s” version.

Now a leaked benchmark listing has not only confirmed all this but given us a few details. It looks like the Mi 5s could feature specs like a Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6GB of RAM.

For those who came in late, the Snapdragon 821 is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 820. It should provide the Mi 5s with some performance improvements over the older version.

We are less sure about the 6GB of RAM. It is not clear if Xiaomi will limit the use of all that memory although it is a moot point what good it will do.
