| Maybe XP infections are that high because it was that widely used? My experience over the years: Win 3.11 : Didn't use it much, preferred DOS. But I still use fences - maybe a reminder of Win3.11 (Avoids your icons/shortcutsbeing all over the placehen connecting an external monitor to my laptop) Win 95: buggy Win NT: not suited for home use Win 98: still buggy Win 98SE: best Microsoft OS at that moment, finally something stable. Win Me (Millenium): Worse even than Vista and that's saying something!!! Win 2000: Predecessor to Win XP Win XP: Finally a reason to upgrade from Win98SE. Still prime benching OS Win Vista: Win Me revisited Win 7: Finally a reason to upgrade from Xp Win 8: Leave out Metro and maybe worthwhile to upgrade fro Win7
