Default Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Black + 2-way/3-way/4-way SLI in 4K / Ultra HD review

As we've seen previously, a single Titan Black is slightly faster than the GeForce GTX 780 Ti in Crysis 3. At 46 fps, Medium settings are barely playable. Very High settings are out of the question. A second Titan increases the frame rate to 73.5 fps on Medium settings, which makes the game perfectly playable. While adding a third card does add some fps, adding a fourth does not improve performance any further.

However, when using Very High settings, both SLI 3-way and 4-way do make a significant difference. What we can conclude from this is the following: Using $ 4,000 worth of video cards, Crysis 3 is finally reasonably playable in Ultra HD resolutions with Very High settings!
