Default Microsoft hits back against Russian Kaspersky

We are perfectly legal

Software King of the World Microsoft has hit back at the anti-virus outfit Kaspersky’s complaint to the EU.

For those who came in late Kaspersky has moaned to the EU anti-trust watchdog claiming that Vole is doing its best to shut out AV competition by favouring its own security software in Windows 10.

However, Microsoft has hit back saying that its software follows the law. A spokesman told us that Microsoft's primary objective is to keep customers protected and it was confident that the security features of Windows 10 comply with competition laws.

“We're always interested in feedback from other companies and we engage deeply with antimalware vendors and have taken a number of steps to address their feedback. We reached out directly to

Kaspersky a number of months ago offering to meet directly at an executive level to better understand their concerns, but that meeting has not yet taken place." a spokesperson told us.
