Default Lucid's Hydra multi-GPU tech: coming soon to a motherboard near you

Lucid's Hydra load-balancing technology is finally heading into its first consumer product. In late October, MSI will release a motherboard featuring a Hydra 200 system-on-a-chip, three PCI Express graphics slots, and some very exciting multi-GPU capabilities.

Thanks to the Hydra 200, Lucid claims you'll be able to run virtually any combination of graphics processors with near-linear performance scaling. Game compatibility is supposed to be better than native CrossFire and SLI schemes, as well.
