Default Kingston HyperX T1 4GB DDR3-2133

Kingston HyperX T1 4GB DDR3-2133 modules are optimized for use in the LGA1156 socket Core i5/i7 platform, and are some of the very fastest on the market. We've seen in our past testing that Kingston modules typically offer great performance and value, so we'll see today if they can continue the trend as we push them to the limit.

Thanks for that, jmke... tiz the memory I had my spying little eye on. The problem with memory is still the day-prices... It's a gamble at the moment and when ordering (and paying) you could end-up spending somewhere between €150 and @350 for this kit.

They did 2200mhz (during my brief test at TweaKing event) 8-9-8-24 TRFC 100 on I5 at stock volts.

The 2000C9 kit we used did 2200 C8-9-8-24 too but on a higher voltage 1.7ish setting, with 1.9 it even did 7-8-7...

Voltage is a problem with LGA1156 mobo's, as they're limited to 1.65V. Mind, I've been spotted dancing the Bossa-Nova at 50 shakes per second when flashing myself on 220V...

That's why you guys are the experts, while we just quote what the manual says... besides, next to Gigabyte you should check the EVGA Classified 200 too...

Well think they also state that for the X58 (where you had to keep balance between QPI and Ram voltage) Just safety, if you overclock you have to be a bit more flexible... Rampage Gene II is my daily mobo, no money for Classie... hopefully we can get some eVGA samples via Alternate, but MM is kindda busy already with the Asus/DFI samples...
