 |  Elpida Develops 4Gb 40nm DDR3 Chip Elpida Memory, one of the leading suppliers of dynamic random access memory (DRAM), has announced that it had completed development of a 4Gb DDR3 SDRAM, the highest density DDR3 DRAM in the industry. The company will use 40nm manufacturing process to make the product. Elpida’s 4Gb DDR3 chip can operate at 1600MHz with not only standard 1.5V voltage, but also 1.35V to allow greater system power savings. The chips will be available with 4-bit, 8-bit and 16-bit data width in 78-ball (x4/x8) and 96-ball (x16) packages. http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/memory/...DDR3_Chip.html
