| Apple finally admits update bricks phones Fruity cargo cult Apple has admitted that its iOS 9 update process has bricked the phones of some users. There have been many complaints that devices were unable to progress past the “Slide to Upgrade” screen when moving to the latest version of iOS. Apples solution is not great.
