![]() | Hello again I've spent the last two night working till late on my project. It is almost finished and i only need to make a report to be able to print my query, thats not very difficult and will only take 30mins or smthn. But i have a question, i know most of you are experienced computer users or even work in the ict branche. So the program i'm making is for an company,i've builded this program on my laptop and was using vb6.0, to be able to use my MDB in VB i had to add another ODBC (gegevensbron) thingie. You prolly know how to make that. BUT the program will be used in the company and they dont have that ODBC, so how can i install my program so that it automaticaly installs that odbc ?cuz the ppl wont know how to do that. i've tryd google and found some answers, but they are all paysites. maybe some of you can help me? => open exe => chek if odbc exist =>if exists continue else => goto configscreen, systemmanagement,ODBC,addnew, add mdb, =>continue ciao

![]() | You never delive an application in code form. The extra libraries be: - compiled to the code - added to the installer

| I've never worked with VB6 so I'm not sure of what I am going to say but if you create the installer for your application then I believe there will be a possibility to include your ODBC config to the setup. |

![]() | YES!!!888!! it is finished, if someone wants to host i can show it to you all ![]() little howto: install the program, and place the database named "settings" in the same map. place the database named "Agenda" where you wanne put it. Then press exe and your all good to go (i think) You'll find not much info in the databases, cuz there is a law that i have to respect, i cant just give all the clients there tel nrs and adresses, can i ? ![]()
