duron 600, did 1.150 on air ... proc is retired, don't know where it is or if it still works

Still remember when I got into it. I had an ECS K7S5A-l, Duron1200, 256Mb SDRAM and a cheap Radeon VE. I didn't know a lot about it and managed to get it unstable to fsb112 using SoftFSB. Can't remember what I did to the graka, but I sure didn't went far. In those days I was still scared

and kept tweaking and finetuning windows.

Later, I got an Aopen AK77, an XP2000+, Aopen GF4 Ti4200. I managed to overclock it to FSB185 (unstable) but I was still scared to kill something that I let my smartfanII scream when overclocking. Never overclocked the graka 'cus it didn't had a temp monitoring. (I already started freaking out when my CPU got over 40°c

. Now I only start freaking when it gets near 60°c (9 chances out of 10 not normal for my setup).

Ow, got a nice pic of real nostalgic oc'ing, JUMPAHS (do note the 3.5V for the cpu :grin: )
Ow, it an AMD K6-II 400, but a bad oc'er. I can only get it to 500Mhz orso and not even stable at hight voltages

first PC was a C64, but only used it for games

next was a Packard Bell Club 1450 (AMD K6-2 450 mhz), had fun with it.
at that time, I started to OC, thing was stable on 500 mhz.
did call someone around 3 am, the pc wouldn't startup anymore on 550 mhz, thought it was broken

(didn"t know what cmos was....).

from then on, everything I bought (CPU/VGA) got overclocked.

had homestead.com for pics in those day's, only can't log on anymore

wrecked my first and only CPU with this thing, poor old 2000+

my first pc was a packard bell
and then i had the genius idea of putting a better graka in it
when i got home i realised that the mobo didn't have an agp port :/
