Default Legal advise

Right now I'm in the middle of a fight between 3 relatives.
It's about an heritage.

I don't feel comfortly to go into details here so I'le try and just say what it all comes down to.

The Grandfather and son lifes together. The grandfather also has a doughter. Now there is a contract that ses the house will go to the son who imediatly gives it to his son. Yet he wont sign it. He claims the doughter can fight it and still get the house and he will just end up with the bills and no house for his son ...

Can i make my own contract with the doughter (my aunth) she will never atempt this and thus not fight the contract.

Is this possible (without a lawer) so I can put my foot down and silence them all?

Note: it is a old and small house no mansion or whatever...

Different countries different laws apply. Lawyer is the best route. Here in the U.S. a living "will" is the final. Without one, the following applies:

1) the surviving spouse (wife or husband).
2) equal share to all sons/daughters.

If they want, they can always start a lawsuit (?), contract or not, but then again, your folks don't have to know that now do they

just tell them that a contract is legally binding.

Although I think that even lawyers can't do much if you sign it with an third party witness like a notary (?) (= notaris )or such.

I have a friend that does lawschool atm, if I see her tonight I'll try to remeber to ask her about this

english is good and all, but
a) this is not an international topic, as said, laws differ around the globe.
b) It's a bit too complicated for this english.

Anyway, if I understand correctly, once there is a written will (created in cooperation with an official notary) there isn't anything anyone can do. This is a binding contract for all parties. There is nothing to fight over.
