![]() | take this situation, you get 100.000 euro's to buy yourself a new car... these 100.000 euro's must be spent entirely on this car, you needn't worry about insurance and other costs, you can simply go and order the car, with all the options you want and it needs to cost between 90.000and 105.000 euro's What would you get and why?

![]() | S8 is most certainly an option to consider ... - great looks - schweet engine - audi = interior ![]() but it's certainly not the only option ... calantak, you're asking a very difficult question here can we put together a top5 ? ![]() (a car that will not be missing from my top5 is the new aston martin, what's it's name - vantage? i just completely love the look of that one ... it just radiates a pure sense of speed & agility) >> AMV8 Vantage is the one i meant: http://www.astonmartin.com/media_gal.../pic1_1024.jpg |

| Well, 100.000€ Is quite a deal of money. I would probably aim for an American Vehicle, such as GMC, Ford, Chrysler and such. With American I mean Pick-up trucks and the like. Now before I continue I must contradict myself, although I am really fond of Pick-up trucks I wouldn't buy one, simply because (to me) it isn't practical, since I have no use for such a huge loading bay. So the obvious choice would be to divert my attention to SUVs and Van-like vehicles. This is (to me) one of the most beautiful SUV's around. The GMC Yukon http://www.gmc.com/gmcjsp/yukon/inde...pageName=index When It comes to Vans, I actually realy like the Vito from Mercedes, along with the GMC Safari ![]() http://www.gmc.com/gmcjsp/safari/ind...pageName=index But even with full options. (and probably shipping the car to Europe) I wouldn't get to use three quarters of the proposed budget. But on the other hand we also got some more "regular" cars. BMW X5 ![]() BMW Series 7 [imghttp://www.bmw.com/common/images/products/automobiles/7er/sedan/design_mov_01.jpg[/img] Volvo XC90 http://www.volvoxc90.com/details/gallery.shtml (yes, the so-called "ouwmannekes auto". Isn't that right calantak? )Anyway, why would I would I buy any of the above cars? because they offer quite a large loading bay. (except the BMW 7) which is, contrary to Pick-ups, covered. Being a person that likes to go to LAN-parties. (and yes also a person that has to make lots of errands for the parents) Is what I am looking for in a car. Also, Luxury is very important. It's imperative that you are at ease when driving your car. and then of course: safety. Huge & robust vehicles like the Yukon offer quite a safe cocoon in case of an accident. (just imagine getting rammed head on by a smaller car. the damage to the smaller car will be considerable, a large vehicle like the Yukon will be -partially- able to absorb the impact) and obviously, looks. I just love how these cars look. No Porsche or Ferrari can compete with that. :-) |

![]() | fastback is a beauty as well ![]() (and the new one ... oh my, now there's a perfect combination between retro-styling and modern materials) (and to stick with ford for just a little while: http://www.fordvehicles.com/fordgt/i...T_home_001.jpg) |

![]() | hey, dudez, some of you have replied utterly OFFTOPIk since the question is that you NEED to buy a 100.000 euro car options IN! this is not a car thread... this is ,a very simple but to the point question. you have 100.000 euro's and you have 5 days to order. Don't get yerself a type r civic, coz you lose 75% of your money then... an aston martin AMv8 is definately in there, cuz it'll be round 80.000-85.000+ options => 100.000 total, a vanquish is NOT in there coz it costs 275.000 euros or sth, pagani zonda, bugatti veyron is OFFTOPIK, they cost 5 times as much. Stick to about 100k! S8 is totally in there cuz it's one helluva car going fulloption about 100.000 euro's if you pack it up with stuff A YUKON XL DENALI AWD is up there too, coz it's 54.000 usd, and bringing it to europe packed with gps and all, it'll costs about 65.000 euro's minimum an x5 4.6v8 S would pack it up too, with all options, you'd be lookin at 85.000-90.000 euros viper isn't coming to europe, so that's out there... when you name a car, could you include pricing and WHY you would prefer that one over another?
