Zalman Zm80A+tweakmonster ramsinks anybody knows if I have to remove the (tweakmonster) ramsinks on my gainward ti4600 when installing the zalman heatpipe? |
do they get in the way of the heatpipe? |
i think so because the zalman uses your whole graphic card greetz |
Problem illustrator at work :^) Can't you just try it ? |
Can't try it, have to buy the thingie... In all reviews I've been reading nobody talks about ramsinks whatsover (except that there are none included with the heatpipe) Nevertheless, I think it won't fit cause the heatpipe seems to be really close to the backside of the card |
it will be better than the sinks so why don't by it greetz |
them blue heatsinks from thermaltake fit under my HP80, only not there where the heatpipe goes.. |
ok, it won't fit!! I am going berzerk of the noise that the stock gf4 cooler makes. Any other solutions except watercooling? |
i've got a chopped up socket A cooler, equiped with a noiseless papst 80mm NGML and R9700 mounting holes. Take your card with you tomorrow, hopefully it fits. :) |
http://vantecusa.com/ccba4c.html 24db, there's also a 30db pro version Thermaltake also has a G4 set, but i'm no Thermaltake fan. |
