* Seeing as you can force AA off through driver with no verification, 4xAA is dropped;
* Seeing as CPU has no speed impact, C2D limit is set to 3ghz, A64 to 3Ghz, P4 to 4Ghz (C2D owners, for fun, run bench at stock CPU vs OC CPU speed to see if there is a difference:) --my finding says no, but it may be a fluke?)

official entrees need to be posted in this thread with
Futuremark Compare + GPU clocks

currently Gamer is in the lead with 178 something air cooled 3D01

and he's in the lead! :)

ranking updated; Gamer you forgot to mention vga clocks.

ya, I'll update the first post once every 2 weeks :p

oh, Gamer, you need to include GPU speeds :)

Massman 22nd June 2007 16:15

When are the first results going to be posted so I have a target to aim at?

2400 C2D = 2700 C2D here

Btw, 190fps in 3dm01 is broken ;)

Good work both Gamer and Cherouke ... I'll have to upload new scores, tonight :)

Sweet, finally something to aim at |D

What clocks by the way?

What details?

By the way, those are sick memory overclocks. I don't think my 702 mhz gpu can compensate 80 mhz memory overclock :(. Tomorrow I'll give it another shot.

I'm out, memory has given up :(

Well, I would only destruct my card even more. I'm still doubting whether I pick one of the two cards that are still left or just backout the competition.

Man, I had the 165 drivers ready to instal before the card died :(

btw, 1GHz anyone ?
nah, not yet.
No voltmods, still stock cooling.

Maybe it's better to keep this thread clean, only post scores here.
Congratulations and stuff can be posted in the workblog.

Let's raise the standard.

Try to beat this score without voltmods and fancy cooling :

updated, please don't make me fire up the benching machine again tonight, my wife already hates the noise that the cpu coolerfan makes :(

684/1020mhz
See details ?

This card has a great future, the recycle bin :p

On a side note, don't you think my remarks better with age ?

Good luck, more where this came from :p

Maybe I'm bold, but I'm not stupid :

Don't think so, Blind....
Vmod will help me too remember :p

To bad, Jupiler has no cooling power |D

Put me on that first spot JMke, or I will do it myself :p

Good thing I stopped benching a year ago :p

Closing 3Dmark a few times did the trick here, previous highest I got was 215fps or so.

this ok Jmke?

FSAA Disabled Disabled, was allowed right?

jmke 27th June 2007 19:34

Yup is good, AA is now off in the rules, benchmark still GPU dependent :)

force mipmap tweak is not usable in 3D Mark 2003, though it's good for another 3FPS if it could be used.

Gamer 27th August 2007 18:08

Nice result, must bench more, more I tell you........

geoffrey 27th August 2007 18:13

Time for Steven pokerface to show us what he really has done with his sample. In meantime, I'm close to 240FPS, very close :D

EDIT: took first spot in 3D Mark 2003
89,3 FPS - 900/1050 - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5496710

Pardons 27th August 2007 18:29

Your results are kinda remarkable since your temps are way higher at lower clocks compared to mine, yet you managed to make a run at those clocks with such temps and stay stable....Blind couldn't do it at 890 without getting frame drops.
Nice one i would say :)
I sold my cards (2 pieces) therefor no backups to show, although i have some runs at a other disk at 925/1135mhz...2.1V/2.45V :D

geoffrey 27th August 2007 18:39

Last time I checked I had around 60°C on load, that's with + 1,8V on the GPU and near 900MHz clock. Check my thread, Cranox give me a tip to get better temps :)

925MHz, insane, is that still aircooled?

Pardons 27th August 2007 18:49

That's aircooled yes, at 925 i'm at only 49° stressed, 880 45°c, yet at those speeds it shows slowdowns frame drops, that's why your results is pretty neat :) I had to rerun it rerun and keep going untill i had 1 stable run...wich resulted in 251fps...

Anyways keep pushing although i don't think anyone wil give some head to you :p
I sold my cards long time ago so technicaly i was already a month out of the compo :)

Btw teh card coulkd take 2.13V before it would give me blankscreen...2.1V was benchable :D
