Vidabox Premium Wireless ACC-KBLTB Keyboard Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by leeghoofd @ 2010-01-22

To start off this is a totally new experience to me. Yes even at my age I am still in for some learning action. Being used to review motherboards, CPUs and GPUs and cooling equipment, I had no idea how to approach a review about a keyboard. Being an avid gamer, in a past far away, I always avoided wireless input. Even though technology has come a long way since the dark ages, I am still sceptical about the lag input they could create when fighting it out on the battlefield. So let us have a loser look at this compact wireless keyboard with trackball from Vidabox

Internals Revealed

What's hidden inside?

Time to open up this keyboard. Seven screws later the keyboard almost fully pops open, I had to use just a little force near the trackball.

Innards are clean , all cable contacts are securely glued , so no ripping apart here.

Two pictures of the trackball, solid design again, you can clearly see the glued cables for extra solidity.

And the last shot is focused on the ergonomic design. This cutout really facillitates the handling of the keyboard when you operate the trackball. You will automatically put your fingers in it, as it feels like a natural thing to do. Note also the rubber foot to prevent sliding when using the keyboard on a table or flat surface.
