MSI Starcam Racer, Genie and Clip II webcams are tested and compared in this article. How do they perform under different lightening conditions? Read on to find out.

The Clip II is a webcam designed to use at office-desks and is quite affordable at €22. With its 1.3 Mega pixel, 4 Mega pixel snapshots and auto focus it’s definitely my favorite. It’s standoff is similar to the Genie, you can snap to your monitor for best line of sight.
Of course MSI chose its classic and stylish packaging again with all the necessary information.
The Clip II uses the same lens as the Racer. A deluxe glass lens with a high clarity. The pictures made with the Clip II has the same quality as those of the Racer. And just like the past 2 samples, also the Clip II has the My Guard Live! function with the needed software.
In short, the Clip II is technically very similar to the Racer but with a different design.
To wrap up this review, let’s take a closer look at the “My Guard Live!” software ->
