Starting with the hard drive bays, these can removed without tools, they slide into place by pinching the two black handles together. Each drive bay hold 3 drives.

When fixing the drives in their place make sure to use the special screws Silverstone provides, the traditional ones will stick out and won’t allow you to fit the drive cage inside the case.

Further noise reduction can be found near the PSU where two strips of foam are present:

Installing the motherboard and components is quite easy thanks to the removable motherboard tray. The PCI slot holders are kept into place by screws.

The Intel Bad Axe motherboard is dwarfed by the size of the motherboard tray, the TJ09 is long and this pays of here as there is room to spare. With the motherboard tray installed inside the case the system looks smaller still.

The PCI slots still remain accessible through a series of holes in the left side of the TJ09, allowing you to remove/add VGA/sound/network/etc cards without having to slide the motherboard tray.

5.25” device installation is straight forward but doesn’t have any tool less features, the traditional screws and screwdriver method. The TJ09 has thus no problem with half size devices like the Scythe Kama fan controller.
