Introduction:

The current trend in PC cases is building them lighter & flashier. Giving it a better finish, and no more dull beige colours. And if possible a "gimmick" on each one to attract the potential buyer!

Today I'll be taking a look at the gMONO CF-2029 case from AMSelectronics. The specifications sheet can be found
here at the AMS homepage.

This case is for the budget minded people as it only costs €80, compare this to the €210 for the Coolermaster ATC-201C-SX2 and you can clearly see they are worlds apart, moneywise. It even comes equipped with a 300 Watt PSU that did not show any sign of weakness during testing.

The gMONO cases come in different colours, I got my hands on a blue version & a black one from Comtechnology.

The gMONO case has a nice plastic covering its front and the entire outside of the case has been finished with high gloss car paint, to give it a reflective look. Watch out for dirty fingers though as they will leave traces very easily on the material.

Now lets open this case and see what's in its belly...
