A look inside

A look inside

After removing the two thumbscrews, you can open the side panel, by pressing the locking mechanism together, and pulling the panel outward. One thing you notice immediately is the light weight of the material, but at the same time the sturdiness of the panel. Being made of 0,85mm aluminum, with folded edges makes it firm, and sharp edges are hard to find.

Looking inside, you can see a clear separation of 3 sections. In the front, the drive cages, with from top to bottom:
  • 2x 3,5? exposed drivebays,
  • 4x 3,5? hidden drivebays, placed sideways.

In front of the 4 drive bays, is a 12cm Coolermaster fan placed as intake.

Installing the drives is kids play. For the 5,25? drives you just slide them in, and push the purple locking mechanism forward. Done.

For the 3,5? exposed drives the same goes. For the 3,5? HDD drive cage, there are purple inlays, that match the holes in the side of your drive. Click one in at each side of the hard drive, and slide it in place, until you hear the locking spring click.

The top of the case, has more than enough room to place your power supply, leaving a nice gap above it free, to tuck away your excessive cables. Make sure you install it before the motherboard, as space gets really tight if you want to do it later.
