Installation

Installation

Installing the front panel is very easy: insert the bay unit in the free 5.25" slot in your case, secure four screws and you're almost done. Only thing you need more is a spare molex connector, which goes in the back of the unit.

Which just leaves us with the pci bracket; I placed it in a free slot in the back of my case and wired my motherboard's "audio out" the "audio in" of the bracket. If you're using a speaker set, you can use the "audio out" plug to attach your speakers. I used my headphones for the most part, so I just plugged it in the front slot in the bay unit itself.

A closer look at the back of my case:

The silver fits my case’s color scheme nicely

The Musketeer 3 really has a retro look, that VU-meter just reminds me of my first (analog) stereo.

Well, the installation went smooth, now let's see (hear?) how this unit let's us enjoy high quality sound ->
