As might be expected Mushkin's LV-Black is included in their re-classified Extreme Performance lineup. Mushkin's new website has also simplified finding the memory you want simply by reading the part number off the heatspreader as above. Here were testing part number 991355 combining two of these modules for a total of 1GB physical RAM. Thumbnails below represent each speed and CAS Latency tested. LV-II Black XP3200 (2x512MB) happened to be one of the best performer's and the most versatile kit in the round-up. Our kit provided some remarkable performance and excellent overclocking potential with very little voltage. We were able to test this kit at six different levels including; 11x200FSB CL2-2-2-6 (2.6V), 11x230FSB CL2-3-2-6 (2.7V), 10x230FSB CL2-3-2-6 (2.8V), 10x240FSB CL2.5-3-3-6 (2.8V), 9x270FSB CL2.5-3-3-8 (2.9V), 9x275FSb CL2.5-4-3-8 (3.1V).

Mushkin's LV-II Black (XP3200) has to be one of their most versatile memory brands offered, at one time it was considered their best performer. Next we introduce another enthusiast part from the Black (PCB) series, their XP4400. Where most PC4400 (275MHz FSB 1:1) parts are based on more lax timings, usually 2.5-3-3-8 or even 3-4-4-8, Mushkin has made substantial progress in this area. Concurrently lowering latencies and prices is, without a doubt, the type of progress we like to see more of.
